Here’s to the start of 2012!

We at Lucity are anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2012 and all its potential! I want to highlight several items we are particularly excited about, and place those within the context of our value proposition “clarity through connections”.

Perhaps you’ve noticed us leveraging social media channels (including this blog, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter) as means to continuously strengthen our connections with our community of clients, partners and broader target market. For this blog we have challenged ourselves to frequently provide subscribers new and worthwhile content. You can help us, too – we’d love to share information you provide us that is of interest and benefit to our community. In 2012 we also intend to share many more photos on our Facebook page – from conferences where we exhibit, events in which we’re involved, visits we make to client sites, Regional User Group meetings our clients host, and the Annual Conference & Training (ACT) gathering of our community.

Regarding 2012 ACT, we’ll be connecting in September in Daytona Beach, FL! Aside from being home to the “world’s most famous beach”, Daytona Beach is located in Volusia County – one of our valued clients. We hope for record attendance and sponsorships, making it the best ACT yet and in the process giving a boost to the local economy of one of our own.

We will soon go-live with a new software system (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) that will offer us better clarity in all our business relationships. Just like our clients we are looking to utilize the latest technologies to enhance our business processes, optimize workflows, and improve analyses and reporting.

Finally we will be kicking off our “Hope in Clarity” partnership in 2012 – look for much more information to follow soon. We are partnering with a local non-profit organization that serves children with special needs and their families, lending our help in a variety of ways (donations, volunteering, etc.).

There is certainly much more we’ll accomplish in 2012, but these are some specific ways we will promote “clarity through connections” throughout the coming year and beyond.

On behalf of all of us at Lucity, I wish you and yours the best in 2012!

~ Jim
