The latest update for Lucity Mobile Work is now available!
With the release last month of the latest update to our Android offering, version 1.2, we added the ability for you to customize what fields are available to your mobile users.
To access this feature simply log in to the device and navigate to the Settings Screen. Once there you’ll see a new option titled “Add Additional Fields”.
Once you tap Show Additional Fields you can then tap which module’s form you’d like to add additional fields to.
On the Select Additional Fields Screen you can easily scroll through the list of fields and tap the fields you wish to add. As you navigate this list you’ll notice that the fields are listed alphabetically and added fields will be denoted with a green check mark next to them.
After you are done selecting fields you can back out to the Settings Screen and hit Save.
Now you can add, edit, and view information for the fields you added!
The Nitty Gritty:
- This customization is unique to each device and must be completed on each device.
- There is no limit to how many fields you can add.
- Additional fields will be shown in alphabetical order after Lucity predefined fields.
- Secured fields will show in the field list, but will not show on the form if the user cannot view secure fields.

To Get the Update:
You’ll be able to check for new versions by visiting the My Apps section of Google Play. Items that have a new version available will say “Update available.”
You’ll also be able enable updates automatically. To do this, visit our app’s details page on Google Play from your device and check the box that says “Allow automatic updating.”
