Could you elaborate on “New spatial tables for work orders and requests for live GIS view of ongoing data”.
    thanks!

  2. Nicole Schmidt says:

We are storing spatial information on all work orders and requests directly in SQL or Oracle spatial columns in the database. This allows you provide your users with live views of work order and request data in the map. For example, you could create a layer to show all open work orders or requests, or you could create a layer to show a rolling 365 view of where you have performed hydrant flow tests. This functionality requires ArcGIS Server 10.1 or higher.
