My job title is… Senior Implementation Engineer
But here’s what I really do… Configuration, training, data conversions, support, development, HR, marketing, research, testing, sales..
I’m making a difference at Lucity by… trying my best to ensure that clients have a great experience working with the software and that end users have a system that is easy to use, efficient and powerful.

Last week we held our annual Lucity holiday lunch here at Lucity HQ. For many of us, this is one of our favorite office traditions. It involves all the usual festivities…a delicious meal, tree trimming, holiday music and a yule log (digital, of course). But the past few years we’ve added another activity to the event…gift wrapping. For the 4th year in a row we’ve raised funds to help give local families a bit of a merrier Christmas. Because 100% of the Lucity team contributed to our adoption campaign, Lucity matched a dollar for every dollar given. This season we “adopted” and provided Christmas gifts and groceries for 4 families! We all loved being part of something so meaningful and fulfilling. There was some creative wrapping necessary for the stuffed toys, some ooooh-ing and aaaaah-ing over the gift selections, and Teresa gave Colin a lesson in wrapping since he hadn’t ever wrapped a gift before! (He was singing the praises of gift bags.)
There’s so much we could say about the generosity of the Lucity team, and so much we could say about their willingness to rise to the occasion when a need arises. But if you know us and have worked with Lucity staff over the years you already know all about it. So as this year comes to an end, know that we’ll continue to foster that generous spirit in the Lucity team. We’ll keep looking for ways to make a difference, and for ways to lend a hand.
Happy holidays to you all!

No, that is not PacMan™ with a Rudolph nose, it’s feature editing! Has your crew ever been out in the field and realized that the geometry at a specific location has changed? Whether it’s a new tree that was just planted or the expansion of a facility parking lot, these kinds of changes can be troublesome to get exact when back at the office. This issue is now avoidable with the release of Lucity Mobile 1.5 for Android. Along with feature editing, several other new features have been added with this release:
- Improvements to map stability and usability
- Base maps
- Multi-select and find dialog improvements

In November 2014, Esri informed us that Lucity qualified for the Esri Partner Network (EPN) ArcGIS Online Specialty. The Specialty designation is for “those partners that have made ArcGIS Online an integral part of their business and want to increase their business around ArcGIS Online”.
Luke Savage (Lucity Customer Services Specialist) completed our successful qualification process efforts which included reviewing related Esri content, activating and configuring Lucity’s Online subscription, attending an Esri Best Practices Workshop, and sharing related Lucity customer success stories.
