Lucity 2016 RUG Roundup

Thanks to everyone who attended one of the eleven (11) Lucity Regional User Group Meetings (RUGs) or nine (9) Lucity Univercity Bootcamp training sessions in 2016!  We had 425 attendees at the RUGs representing 84 agencies.  The bootcamps had a total of 309 attendees representing 43 agencies.  Many attendees came to both, giving us a final number of 637 unique attendees representing 92 unique agencies.

As I stated at each of the RUGs, this year was my first time attending.  I really enjoyed getting to know the attendees and hear their stories. I truly enjoyed the RUGs because it let me do some of the things that I love. Continue reading

Sharpen Your Tools >> Client to Client Interactions

Every year at ACT, Lucity users have the unique opportunity to see how other clients from all over the country use the Lucity software and ask them questions directly.  We recognize how beneficial and important these interactions are, so we work to provide ample opportunities for our users to interact. We have come to rely on and stress the importance of these interactions for so many reasons. As clients get to know each other better, they tend to be more open with their questions during presentations, which makes for much more successful and beneficial presentations – everyone who attends benefits from these questions. As a comfort level between attendees is reached, there is a greater likelihood of honest dialog about best practices with regard to the Lucity software. Continue reading

iOS Service Release for Lucity 2.0

Clients on Lucity 2016 can download an update (2.2) to the Lucity mobile application for iPad® and iPhone®. This service release addresses the following issues:

  • Resolves issues with Custom Ports
  • Decimal Fields no longer require leading zero
  • Adds text highlight when user clicks in a field
  • Fixes a bug not allowing documents to be attached from a device gallery
  • Resolves issues with Camera freezing
  • Various bug fixes
