Looking Into Lucity >> September Issue

Welcome to the September issue of Looking into Lucity! If you have questions on any of this information, please let us know.

Focus On >> Getting the Most out of the Lucity Support Center

Join Allison Tuttle and Jonathan Semones for a live webinar on Tuesday, October 11th at 1pm CST that will give you a fantastic chance to learn (and ask questions) about the Lucity Support Center.  They will give you tips on how to get the most from our self-service tools, and share new features that you may have missed.

You need to register (it is free to attend) so we can provide you with all the necessary access information. And if you’re unable to attend we’ll share a recording on the Lucity YouTube channel after the event.

Jonathan also put together a quick video all about the Lucity YouTube channel. There’s so much information available, and we’re continually updating the content as we receive requests from our users.

Lucity ACT News >> It’s a Wrap!

We had such a fantastic week at ACT16…and we hope that those of you that attended did as well. Lucity provided 73 training sessions over the 4-day event, 22 hours of industry-specific User Discussion opportunities, and 18 unique and impressive user-lead presentations highlighting challenges and successes. Add in some networking opportunities (and 5 inches of rain!), and business partners who complement Lucity’s solutions and you understand why this is our favorite week of the year.

ACT17 >> Save the Date! We’ll be hosting ACT17 from September 17th through September 20th in our hometown…Kansas City! We’re thrilled to welcome those of you who haven’t ever traveled to KC and we’d love to point out some of our favorite local attractions. Stay tuned for staff recommendations on the Lucity Blog as we get excited for your visit. We’re working on the ACT website with full details and will share its release with you as soon as we can.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS!

Those of you who know Don Pinkston, Lucity President, know that he thrives on the excitement that ACT brings. And here at Lucity we know that he starts working on next year’s ACT right after this year’s closing reception! He’s working on next year’s agenda and we would love to tentatively add you to our presenter list. Give Don Pinkston a call (913-732-5828) or send an email to act@lucity.com.

Taking A Closer Look >> Community Forums

Did you know that we have a Community Forum section on the Lucity Support Center website? This section is for you all to converse with one another as Lucity users to pose questions about executing something, share a new way you are using Lucity etc. You can get to the Community Forums here. Check them out and make sure to follow as many topics as you want to! That means that you will receive an email anytime someone posts to that spot and then you can participate in the conversation too!

We wanted to let you know about a new topic we recently added as a result of some feedback we heard during our RUG meetings earlier this year – Lucity Related Jobs – see it here. This is a spot for you to post a short description and a link to any Lucity-related job openings you may have at your organization. This gives other Lucity users an opportunity to find out about openings in case you have a need to switch jobs and would like to continue working with Lucity software.

Let us know what you think and we can’t wait to join in any conversations you all start with one another!
