Welcome to the October issue of Looking into Lucity! If you have questions on any of this information, please let us know.
Focus On >> City of Newark Success Story
Those of you who attended ACT16 may have been able to catch a presentation Lindsey Brighton from the City of Newark shared about how their agency makes use of an internal Lucity user group. This can be such a useful plan and we thought it was something worth sharing here. In addition to the video below, there is a conversation thread on our Community Forums that would be a great place to ask for ideas and feedback, as well as to share your thoughts.
Lucity ACT News >> User Presentations & Lucity Training Materials
On the Lucity Support Center you’ll find a catalog of all the Lucity training materials that were created for our ACT training sessions. These are a fantastic resource for you as you train new users, and keep your current users up to speed.
We also asked our users who presented to share their presentations, and we’ve made those available on the Support Center as well. If you loved what these folks shared, be sure you let them (or us) know!
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS!
Those of you who know Don Pinkston, Lucity President, know that he thrives on the excitement that ACT brings. And here at Lucity we know that he starts working on next year’s ACT right after this year’s closing reception! He’s working on next year’s agenda and we would love to tentatively add you to our presenter list. Give Don Pinkston a call (913-732-5828) or send an email to email@example.com.
Taking A Closer Look >> Training Tuesday
You may have noticed a new weekly posting on our social media channels…Training Tuesday. We wanted to remind you of some of our fantastic training videos in the hopes that one of them might spark new ideas or share a little insight. Be sure you’re following along on Twitter and the Lucity blog so you don’t miss any posts. And if you have an idea for a training video, be sure you let us know!
