Today, we published a new release for Lucity 2.0 (2.27) for iPad® and iPhone® and it is now live on the App Store. It includes the following:
- Adds an option for choosing a category when creating work orders from assets in the map (requires Lucity 2019 or higher)
- Adds an option for using the old method for creating work orders from Assets in the map if the user does not want to prompt for templates (for Lucity 2019 or higher)
- Resolves issues with Creating Work Orders from the map in earlier server versions (18r2 and earlier)
Users on Lucity 2018r2 and earlier will continue to use the old method of creating work orders from the map. The new options for templates and choosing a view are only available for clients on Lucity 2019 and higher.
For clients who do not have default categories configured for all their assets and want their users to be able to continue to create work orders without a template in the map, the option to prompt for a category is now available.
If your users do not like the new changes that prompt for a template when creating a work order from an asset in the map, your users now have the option to use the historic work order creation methodology. This is configured in Settings on the device.
