Focus On >> The Lucity QA Dashboard
We’re excited to share with you our plans for a live webinar in December. We’ve asked longtime Lucity user and Client Advisory Board member Kevin Coons (Sr. Systems Analyst at the City of Wichita, KS) to be our guest presenter. Kevin will explore the QA dashboards that the City of Wichita, KS has set up for Lucity, what type of checks they have put in place and how they use them. We encourage you to submit ideas for QA dashboards/frames and we will go over execution of some of those submitted ideas as well. Continue reading

Focus On >> City of Newark Success Story
Those of you who attended ACT16 may have been able to catch a presentation Lindsey Brighton from the City of Newark shared about how their agency makes use of an internal Lucity user group. This can be such a useful plan and we thought it was something worth sharing here. In addition to the video below, there is a conversation thread on our Community Forums that would be a great place to ask for ideas and feedback, as well as to share your thoughts.

The ACT16 Opening Session ended a bit ago and we wanted to share with ALL of you, not just attendees, some of the great info that was shared. We start every year with a presentation sharing a bit about us as a company, some information about the Lucity software, and details about our client services efforts. Here are some of the highlights: Continue reading
Every year at ACT, Lucity users have the unique opportunity to see how other clients from all over the country use the Lucity software and ask them questions directly. We recognize how beneficial and important these interactions are, so we work to provide ample opportunities for our users to interact. We have come to rely on and stress the importance of these interactions for so many reasons. As clients get to know each other better, they tend to be more open with their questions during presentations, which makes for much more successful and beneficial presentations – everyone who attends benefits from these questions. As a comfort level between attendees is reached, there is a greater likelihood of honest dialog about best practices with regard to the Lucity software. Continue reading

The End-User training courses at ACT are where it all began – they were the reason we started holding an annual meeting. We wanted to give our users an opportunity to refresh their skills, ask questions, and learn a few things about the applications they use on a day-to-day basis. There will no doubt be ‘training’ happening in ALL of the sessions at ACT, but we’ve consolidated our end-user training classes into one track. Take a look at our agenda and you’ll notice that the majority of the sessions we offer on Monday will be replicated on Tuesday. So many attendees have told us they needed to clone themselves so they can attend all the sessions that are of interest to them – we’re hoping this helps! We’ve also included a few classes that can help newer users feel even more confident in their Lucity use. Continue reading
