National Public Works Week WINNER!

Happy Public Works Week to all of our friends in the public works world! Thank you for all you do for your communities, and for all of us here at Lucity.

We were so excited to receive so many entries, and we truly enjoyed reading your submissions. It wasn’t easy, but we’ve selected winners to to honor each day this week. Today’s winner has been a Lucity user since 1999 (that’s nearly 20 years!) and as you can imagine their use of LucityAM has been a continually evolving and improving feat. They’ve truly become advisors for our Product Development team, and their creative uses of our software make them a fantastic resource for new users. Please join us in congratulating our first winners! Continue reading

The {NEW} Lucity Legacy Award

Last week at our Annual Conference & Training (ACT) we introduced the Lucity Legacy Award and recognized three recipients during our Plenary Session. We’re so excited about the opportunity to recognize some members of the Lucity family, and we wanted to share some highlights with you.

The Lucity Legacy Award was developed to shine a light on individuals or organizations within the Lucity family who continually demonstrate a desire to raise the bar. The recipients of the Lucity Legacy Award are leaving an impact on their organizations, their teams, or their communities and we are proud to acknowledge and celebrate these accomplishments. Award recipients will be recognized annually at our Annual Conference & Training, and a plaque of recognition will hang at Lucity Headquarters.

Our final category in the Public Works Week contest pertained to the unusual or exciting things you (or your crews) might encounter as they’re in the field. We’ve all heard stories, right? Well this submission is quite the visual and probably involved quite a lot of cleanup time!

Public Works Week WINNER!

We love how many of you built days into your week to share your operations with citizens. What better way for them to learn what Public Works is all about? So many things in our daily lives are under your care and supervision and many of us take them for granted. This next honoree has big plans for celebrating today, May 20th. In fact, we received two submissions from this agency – what pride in their department!

If you have plans to celebrate and share your work with your citizens, send us your photos! We’d love to share them.

Join us in wishing this agency a Happy City Works Day!
