Android Release for Lucity 2.0

Today Lucity released an update to the Google Play store for Lucity Mobile 2.0 for Android (Version 2.5 Build 16) for use with Lucity 2016, Lucity 2016r2, Lucity 2017, Lucity 2017r2, and Lucity 2018. This update includes:

  • Changing the tap radius on GIS Feature Editing to be consistent with Identify
  • Changes to some data collected for device positioning
  • Several code changes/enhancements in preparation for the release of Lucity 2018r2

The update can be downloaded from the Google Play store from your device. To enable updates automatically, open the Lucity Mobile 2.0 details page on Google Play, tap on the menu in the upper right corner, and check the box that says “Auto-update”.

Android Release for Lucity 2.0

Today Lucity released an update to the Google Play store for LucityAM Mobile 2.0 for Android (Version 2.5) for use with versions 2016, 2016r2, 2017, 2017r2, and 2018. This update includes support for:

  • Prompting to select a work order view when creating a work order from a request, an inventory module or an inspection module. This functionality is not yet available for the map or offline. (Requires LucityAM 2018)
  • Searching in the Modules Menu
  • Restores Advanced Show in Map from the Work Order Asset grid
  • Standardizes address searching between the Search tool and Show in Map
  • Various bug fixes

Android Release for Lucity 2.0

Today Lucity released an update to the Google Play store for Lucity Mobile 2.0 for Android (Version 2.3) for use with Lucity 2016, Lucity 2016r2, and Lucity 2017. This update adds support for:

  • Navigator for ArcGIS for getting map directions from the map
  • Signature Capture (will require Lucity 2017r2)
  • Mobile Reports (will require Lucity 2017r2)

Lucity 2.0 for Android — Advanced Map/Work Order Asset Feature

In our last release of Lucity 2.0 (Version 2.2) for Android, we indicated that it now includes a new feature to support enhanced interaction between the map and work order assets. This feature includes two pieces. First, the user is able to define different colors for assets that are plotted on the map. Second, the user is able to have the map and a work order asset form open at the same time. This allows you to make changes to the work order asset without leaving the map. Continue reading

Lucity 2.0 — Now on the Android Phone!

In our last release of Lucity 2.0 (Version 2.2) for Android, we indicated that it now includes expanded device support. What this means is that this version can be downloaded and used on Android phones as well as Android tablets. We are very excited to offer this support to clients! While the app is smaller on a phone, it is fully functional including the dashboard, views, forms and the map. The images below show how it might appear on your phone. Continue reading

Android Tablet Release for Lucity 2.0

Lucity has released an update to the Google Play store for Lucity Mobile 2.0 (Version 2.2) for use with Lucity 2016, Lucity 2016r2, and Lucity 2017. This update adds support for:

  • Creating a work order offline from an asset/inventory module
  • Selecting the closest feature in the map
  • Toolkits available from a form
  • Selecting multiple features in the map using a polygon
  • Honoring GIS default extent
  • A “home” feature in the map to return to the default extent
  • Enhanced map/work order asset workflow (video coming soon)
  • Map callouts now show layer name instead of alias
  • Menus
  • Expanded device support

It also resolves issues with taking assets offline in a data drill and various bugs.
